The Copper River is our "signature trip" and rightly so. This stunning river corridor is one of the world's most spectacular journey's, from the interior of the state to the coast near Cordova. Waterfalls, hanging glaciers, and huge ice faces that calve into the river are interspersed with peaceful riverside camps and great wildlife sitings.

Our ever-popular day trip combines 17 miles of Class II-III Whitewater with a remoteness that can only be found in the heart of Alaska's largest national park. After rafting down splashy and braided sections as well as the narrow and twisting Nizina Canyon, you will get picked up by bush plane and returned to McCarthy by way of a mind-blowing scenic flightsee.
