Barker-Ewing Whitewater

Among the first in the Jackson Hole valley to offer whitewater rafting trips on the Snake River, Barker-Ewing is part of river rafting history, and deeply devoted to the community of Jackson Hole, Wyoming. As you might have guessed, the name of the company is the confluence of late 1950's Snake River guide Frank Ewing with the Barker family that was beginning a similar guiding operation in the early 1960's. Long established and exclusive partnerships with local properties along the Snake River, Barker-Ewing offers a few perks that few others in the area can offer their guests with more private lunch stops, put-ins and take-outs. Fitting with a company that has been so long established, Barker-Ewing keeps a focus on the comfort and need of their guests, combined with a passion for making sure the river experience has a lasting impact on their guests - and not just an inflatable bus route from point A to point B. That's what established river outfitters do! A 2019 USA Today Reader's Poll listed them in the top 5 river outfitters in the nation.
