In the beautiful Columbia River Gorge you will find the Wild & Scenic stretch of the White Salmon River. This now free-flowing river offers non-stop whitewater action and clear glacier melt from Mt. Adams. Starting your rafting experience in the town of BZ corner it won't take long for you to get hooked on the excitement and beauty of this magical river. The river trip starts off with class III rapid “Top Drop” which will give you just a little taste of the whitewater action still to come. Paddling through the basalt - walled gorge you’ll find yourself thinking, “Is there possibly a more beautiful place?” You will then navigate through “Stairstep rapid”, “Grasshopper rapid,” “Corkscrew rapid”, and “Waterspout rapid,” which seem to never disappoint. Don’t worry the trip isn’t over yet, class V “Husum Falls” is an optional exhilarating 10-foot waterfall towards the end of the trip and is guaranteed to get your heart pumping. (12 years and up). If you opt out of taking the plunge and experiencing the thrill of Husum Falls your rafting trip isn’t over. With 2 more miles of excitement ahead you can “ride the bull” through “Rattlesnake rapid” which is a highlight for most guests on the White Salmon River.
